- shortly after having arrived in London volunteering work from November 1995 until end of 1996 within the sound and video department of a small low budget video production company called "Massive Videos" back then

- in 1996 start off for the first "Portobello Film festival" initiated by that former company

- helping out on the first two such festivals in the technical organizational field with rigging duties like setting up a big open air screen and similar tasks

- days of the festival's initial basement are gone by now, it nowadays represents a major annual Festival event in London and the UK growing ever bigger by the years in its reputation (meanwhile even across Europe)
